These definitely help keep dirt, mud, sticks and other flora from flying up into the inner workings of the Gen 7 (which is a big deal considering the exposed main gear). They do make it a bit more difficult to tinker with the shocks, servo, and front axle and tires. Not a big deal as long as you make sure you've got a screwdriver with a flexible extension. I've had to take apart my front axle 6 times in the last 2 months, and there are 4 screws that you definitely need a flexible arm to be able to reach with these inner fenders on. All in all I still definitely recommend them. Note that you may need 4 additional screws (and maybe even nuts) to secure these in ideal fashion.
